Currently, there are not many buyers and sellers in the market. Purchasing power for cashew kernel is still limited.
The price gap between WW240 and WW320 also increased to 30 cents/lb. Most packers are offering WW240 at $3.40-$3.45/lb and W320's price is maintained at $3.10-$3.15/lb.
In May, Vietnam exported about 74,000 tons of cashew nuts, its reached highest level since the beginning of the year. Thus, in the first 5 months of 2026, the total amount of exported cashew nuts was about 268,200 tons (down only about 3% compared to the same period in 2025 – 276,500 tons).
According to Vietnam Customs statistics, Vietnam imported about 214,100 tons of raw materials in May. Total raw material imports in the first 5 months of 2026 reached approximately 1,457,000 tons (up about 12% compared to the same period in 2025 – 1,305,00 tons).
