The cashew kernel export market continued to be quiet. Purchasing demand is still limited.
The amount of cashew kernel offers is not much. WW240 is being offered from 3.50 – 3.55 usd/ lb and WW320 from 3.15 – 3.20 usd/ lb.
The domestic market is also desolated, however, some people predict that domestic cashew prices will rise sharply as China purchases goods for the Lunar New Year.
The USD/VND exchange rate has been continuously falling for the past month and is maintaining a low level. This is also a pressure on producers.
Raw material prices are being maintained at high levels and there are not much changed. Below are reference prices of raw materials:
