The cashew kernel market is still operating slowly. There are only a few buyers purchasing goods for the last months of the year.
The cashew nut market have cooled down. The price of WW320 has left the 3.20 usd/lb. Currently, most BRC packers offer WW320 from $3.10 - $3.15/lb.
The WW240 inventory is putting a lot of pressure on many manufacturers. Currently, the price gap between WW240 and WW320 is only 5 – 10 cents/lb (depending on each packer).
From January to the end of July 2025, Vietnam imported about 940,000 tons of Cambodia raw cashew nuts, up about 12% compared to the same period last year (840,000 tons).
In the first half of August, Vietnam exported about 33,026 tons of cashew nuts and imported about 142,786 tons of raw materials.
