Trading activity in the export market remains slow. Only a few buyers have returned to the market with immediate and short-term demand.
The prices of cashew nut have fallen by 3 - 5 cents/lb compared to last week. WW320 from BRC packers is being offered at 3.10 - 3.15 usd/lb depending on quality.
In April, Vietnam exported approximately 68,800 tons of cashew kernels. Thus, the total volume of cashew kernel exports in the first four months of the year reached about 194,000 tons, only a slight decrease of 0.7% compared to the same period in 2025 (195,400 tons).
Vietnam imported about 511,000 tons of raw materials in April. The total amount of raw materials in the first four months of the year was approximately 1,242,500 tons, a sharp increase of about 22% compared to the same period in 2025 (1,021,000 tons).
Below is a reference price of raw material being offered in Vietnam.
* The price of Vietnamese raw material is around 1,690 usd/ton, 52lbs outturn, 190 nuts
* Ogbomosho raw material is being offered about 1,570 usd/ton, 50 – 51lbs outturn, 180 nuts.
* Senegal raw materials are being offered at around 1,750 USD/ton, 53lbs outturn, 210 nuts.
